About Our State and National Conventions

Our state organization, Massachusetts Mothers of Twins Association (MMOTA), sponsors an annual convention in November.  Recent conventions have been held in Burlington, Plymouth, Milford and even just over the Massachusetts border in Nashua, NH!  The two-day event consists of an entertaining evening of music and laughter on Friday night, and on Saturday an informative day of workshops and knowledgeable speakers on topics of interest to our members.

Each year in July hundreds of members of our national organization, National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs (NOMOTC), gather for the annual meeting and convention that is held in some of the most exciting cities in the country.  In the past, conventions have been held in Oklahoma City and Memphis, Orlando and San Diego.  In addition to the taking care of the business of the national organization, this event offers camaraderie and bonding with other mothers of multiples from across the country.  Convention attendees have an opportunity to hear expert speakers and attend special workshops on a variety of subjects which offer assistance to clubs and individuals.

Fortunately, National Convention 2008 is to be held right here in Boston!  During the week of July 20-26, hundreds of members from across the country will be staying at The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers, 50 Park Plaza at Arlington Street in Boston and enjoying many tours that include a Spirit of Boston sunset cruise, a Duck Boat tour, a pilgrimage to Plimoth Plantation, a visit to Fenway Park and JFK Library, and a night enjoying a traditional New England clambake.  If you would like to participate in and/or attend the 2008 National Convention, please contact us at info@mmota-founding.org.

If you would like more information about our conventions, please call the TWINLINE (781-989-3222) and leave your name, city or town in which you live, email address and/or phone number, and one of our volunteer members will return your message as soon as possible.
