In addition to the support programs (Cope Meetings, Playgroup, Big/Little Sister) and activities (Spring/Fall Sales, General Meetings, Board Meetings, Annual Banquet, Conventions), below is an outline of additional benefits we offer our members:
TWINLINE - 781-989-3222): You can listen to the recorded message about events, or you can leave a message and a member volunteer will return your call as soon as possible. Be sure to leave to leave your name, email address and/or telephone number and city or town in which you live, and a volunteer member will return your call as soon as possible.
Membership Directory: A semi-annually updated directory of all club members, listed alphabetically and geographically, available for download, so you can find other MOTs in your area. You may be surprised to find another MOT living right around the corner from you! You can also obtain a copy of the information-packed directory by coming to a General Meeting and asking the Membership Chairperson (for paid members only).
Special Events: Our special events, held at varying locations, have included apple picking, Halloween parties, holiday parties, pool parties, spring banquets and summer outings. You can find out more through our monthly newsletters, the Members-Only Area or by calling the TWINLINE.
Moms Night Out: Leave the kids at home and join other MOTs for a fun-filled night on the town. MOTs Night Out is arranged by various members, and we always encourage our members to recommend new places to try dining, dancing or even just bowling. It's a great opportunity to make friends and have a night away from it all!
Conventions: Our club actively participates in conventions at the state and national level. All members are encouraged to attend.
Members-Only Area: In addition to support programs, children's activities, events, scholarships and newsletters, we offer an online Members-Only Area. This requires a member to obtain a Yahoo! Groups login and password that you will be given an opportunity to choose when you join. The Members-Only Area provides:
a private group message board where you can ask questions or set up your own play dates;
a subscriber list where you receive emails, including notice to download the newsletter;
a chat room where you can make a MOT-to-MOT chat date anytime;
an area where you can post pictures of your family, especially your multiples;
an area where you can post and view ads;
an area where you can share your favorite recipes;
an area where you can browse the archives for previous newsletters; and
an area where you can participate in polls and view poll results.
The Members-Only Area is a secured area, because many moms share their addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses with other members. Please remember that all member information is private and confidential. Do not share information with anyone else unless that MOT has approved of doing so.
Most importantly, this area is for you. If there is a capability that is missing, or you'd like to add folders or documents to the area, please feel free to do so. Or contact one of the board members to request the functionality. If we can support it, we will add it. It's important that this site works to support you.
