Annual Events

FAMILY ACTIVITIES

Each year, MMOTA – Founding hosts a number of family fun activities.  The Halloween party is always a blast, with over 100 twins in costumes!  We also host pool parties, an afternoon at an indoor play space, a summer picnic, and other great outings.  Members can find out more information through our Members-Only Area.

ANNUAL MEET THE OFFICERS DINNER

The annual dinner is a fun evening for everyone.  During the fall, we reserve a room at a local restaurant and invite moms to leave the kids at home with dad, put on their grown-up clothes and join us for a relaxing dinner and socializing.  As part of the evening’s activities, we introduce the club’s new board members.  Join us for an evening of fun, friends and fine dining!

ANNUAL NEW MEMBERS’ BRUNCH

The annual brunch is a wonderful way to meet everyone else who has joined during the past year.  During the spring, we dress up a room at our meeting place and invite moms to leave the kids at home with dad, put on their grown-up clothes and join us for a relaxing brunch and socializing.  Join us for a morning of fun, friends and good food!

CONVENTIONS

Our state organization, Massachusetts Mothers of Twins Association (MMOTA), sponsors an annual convention in November.  Recent conventions have been held in Burlington, Plymouth, Milford and even just over the Massachusetts border in Nashua, NH!  The two-day event consists of an entertaining evening of music and laughter on Friday night, and on Saturday an informative day of workshops and knowledgeable speakers on topics of interest to our members.

Each year in July hundreds of members of our national organization, National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs (NOMOTC), gather for the annual meeting and convention that is held in some of the most exciting cities in the country.  In the past, conventions have been held in Oklahoma City and Memphis, Orlando and San Diego.  In addition to the taking care of the business of the national organization, this event offers camaraderie and bonding with other mothers of multiples from across the country.  Convention attendees have an opportunity to hear expert speakers and attend special workshops on a variety of subjects which offer assistance to clubs and individuals.
